Unidentified Asian Plant seen on Facebook

    A Facebook post that appeared on my feed asks:

    "About 20 kilometers south of Nanning, Guangxi, P.R. China.... approx. 600 meters above sea level.... April, 2009. A medium to large woody vine, with fuzzy, large heart-shaped leaves, and this surreal blossom, about 8 cm. in diameter. What is it ?"

    Thanks in advance for any information and help to solve this mystery. :-)

    The shape of this seems to imply that only a specific pollinator can fertilize the blossom...
