Are these the same type of tree or is the lighting that makes them look a little different?

It's a cultivar. Sunlight, soil conditions, rootstock used, all play different roles on vigor/shape. A cultivar means it is true to name/type/'any plant bearing this name means they are all the same.'

Thank you, I'm always look for the right tree that grows, tall but not broad. I live on an acre, but part of that has a shop and a long drive way to it so planting some trees that would love to get would not be practical in some areas of our property.

I think that is the problem with the ATlantis Glauca (sp?) because they are perfect when they are smaller and on sale at the nursery, but they can grow taller which is fine but really spread out.

fastigiate
upright weeping (narrow)

Good luck and thanks for your interest in conifers.
