Our Master Gardener association is having a plant sale to raise money for our library. We have been doing quite a few "personal yard digs" and getting some terrific plants for our sale. However, it is hard to find the names of some of these plants. We would like to help educate the public when selling these items, by listing their proper names and the care & maintenance for each. This requires us to know their proper name. I've done a search on this fern, trying to find its name and cannot find a similar photo of this one.

This fern seems to be everywhere you find swampy wetland, here in the southeast. Help with identification would be greatly appreciated.

    Saltcedar,

I'm thrilled and tickled and yes, it looks like the woodwardia areolata...sterile variety. Thanks so much for giving me the information I need to read more about this fern and in good conscientious, label this fern at our plant sale, with confidence.
