I need help so badly. I cannot get rid of this offensive plant - bindweed. I live in the Eastern part of the country (near Montreal) and will try anything to get rid of this plant. It is ruining my grass and everything else I cherish around my new home.

Please. Any suggestions are very welcome.

    Thank you.

I read the post asking for help for bindweed. I found a good site about this at http://www.ag.ndsu.edu/pubs/plantsci/weeds/w802w.htm
Also looking under bindweed. We have problems with it too, and every time I see one starting I pull it at least to slow it down until I can get to the root.
Doesn't help when your neighbour thinks hers is wild petunia and won't pull hers as it trails everywhere. Anyway! If you let this weed get ahead of you, as cute as it is, it will choke other plants out and you will end up with nothing else. On the NBSU site, it is pointed out that property value can be reduced greatly as a result of this weed, try the NDSU site and good luck
