Hi everyone Found this mushroom I think its a blue chantrelle but not 100% sure any info would be awesome, Thanks
Exciting! It might be, but it is hard to tell from the photo. Could you post a photo with the details showing better? Was it growing from ground or wood, near any particular tree species? Can you see the chanterelle-like folds-instead-of-gills, on the underside/outside/spore-producing side? .... May I add my joke here? Q: What was the enthusiastic Irish parrot called? -frog
It was found growing in the ground around spruce and fir at high elevation. This is the best photo i have, tried getting a closer one but the camera wouldnt focus. The gills are very chantrelle like. I have no idea on the answer to your joke.........please enlighten me Thanks
The enthusiastic Irish parrot's name is .... Polyozellus! ... and, well, ahem ... the apartment building complex where the parrot lives is .... Polyozellus' multiplex! Whee! frog
