    Looks like a Bromeliad of some sort, can't be more specific without pic's of leaves I'm afraid.

    Costus seemed similar but also would like a picture of the leaves if possible.

    I will try, next time, I think is a bromeliad, not sure. Thanks for your help Wrygrass2.
