I bought a lovely plant a while ago (had seen them in Mexico). It has green to deep pink leaves, and no flowers. It was about 2.5 feet high when I bought it. Help! I need to find care tips for it and can't locate the name.

Drives me nuts occasionally too! I've got them in my yard and can never remember when people ask.

I think it is something other than cordyline, which is New Zealand flax, is it not?

New Zealand Flax is Phormium tenax or cookianum.

    This is Cordyline fruticosa.

Thanks. I recently bought a plant that looks like New Zealand Flax whose tag said Kiwi - Cordyline. The tag must be wrong. Phormium it is!
