is my pampas grass dead?

    hi, i accidently cut my pampas grass down last fall to about 6 inches. Will it come back next spring???

    Yes, unless you've had a severe deep freeze. The stuff is almost impossible to kill, even burning it to the ground won't harm it.

    This would also be a good time to divide the pampus...without the nasty razor edges on the stem/fronds.
