pink flower growing in garden bed, possibly from bird seed

    Anyone know what this is? I suspect it came from bird seed that was washed into my dye garden bed! It's about 12" high and loaded with buds that are slightly pendulous to start, opening into this wonderful ruffled pink bloom,with a purple tinge to the stem and the veining of older leaves. I live in Calgary Alberta and these are thriving in a southeast facing spot, with minimal watering.

    It's a Clarkia. These are typical components of wildflower mixes.
