We got two of them in the ground.

The first pic shows my Abigail Rose JM, the 2nd is an Aoba Jo. Here's hoping I don't kill them :)
More planting planned in a few days. There will be a total of 5 dwarfs in the front garden space by next weekend.

An exciting time of year for sure! What else you planting?

Generally all you need to do is keep watering the little fellas every time the soil dries out. It's almost worse to give them too much love with fertilizer spikes, twice a day watering, and the like.

The three others that will get planted in this area are Hupps Dwarf, Murasaki kiyohime and Pixie. I have 4 other mid-size JM trees I am potting and putting in the back yard (ukigumo, inaba shidare, katsura, Beni schichihenge)

Mother nature is taking care of the first watering tonight!

Hey, Niroha, they look very promising. I think that you already have enough good dirt there. Congrats, and welcome to the maplemadness site!
