    Possibly an Allamanda.

    Ron,

Thanks. You may be right. I assume that there different varieties?
Can you point me to some photos?

    Thanks, Daniel.

I didn't realize it was so easy to do a Google image search. Learned two new things today.

It looks as though I have a large Allamanda cathartica ("brownbud"). Mine is about 3.5-4 m high and has grown up inside a bougainvillea, stretching maybe 5 m along a high wall. I just ordered some rooting powder so that I can replant some cuttings.
