    Hi,

Can anyone identify this plant for me? It was about to be bulldozed on a vacant lot. I loved it so I saved it. :)

    Thanks

I didn't now phlox grew that tall. Does it bloom this late in the season? I live in Southern NH.

    Hi.

This site talks about phlox growing in NH. There are many varieties hence the question about their height. I garden in a sw BC where we have been suffering badly from drought conditions with the attendant water restrictions so most of my perennials have died back. Normally my phlox would still be flowering. Here they can be quite invasive so I am sure that some will survive. Humming birds and butterflies love them.

Thank you both for all the info. I have transplanted the phlox to a sunny spot with soil that drains well. I hope it survives.

I rescue dogs & cats, now plants :)
