Wildflowers: Colombian Plant: Psammisia Sp.?

    Is this epiphytic a Psammisia species? Or if not, what might it be? Photographed on eastern slope of western cordillera at 2100m.

    Looks like it could be a Psammisia. Maybe the flowers have not developed fully and if you go back when they do you may have a better shot at finding a match.

    Could also be a Cavendishia - I'm with Colombia, mature flowers will help you immensely.

    Lorax I think you are quite right as I have seen flowering Cavendishia bracteata in the same tree. So are the red pods fruits of Cavendishia?
