    Hi!
    I have a few plants I'm trying to decide if and how to bring in for the fall.
    I live in Vancouver, zone 8. All are in containers.

    * Lemon Scented Goldcrest Cypress Tree (Cupressus macrocarpa "Gold Crest")
    (would really like to know if this could possibly survive outside...as it has gotten
    rather big)
    * small pot of sedums
    * basil
    * Aeonium Schwarzkopf
    * Mosquito geranium with Rosemary

    I have been told the most effective method for avoiding pest infestation is to
    put the pots in a large garbage bag and spray them with raid and leave for
    20 minutes. Is this generally recognized? Seems severe.

    Thanks!
