British Columbia: patchy red foliage on western red cedar

    We have about 1.5 hectares on Shuswap lake and most of the cedars have patchy red foliage. Could this be from the heat and drought last year or is it something to be more concerned with? It seems to be common in this area to varying extents on different individual trees.
