Is this a rhubarb ?

    One of the ornamental rhubarbs. Culinary rhubarb is but one species in an entire genus of plants.

    And with in the culinary rhubarb there appears to be different strengths and sizes of stems. At least it appeared that way in the comercial crop that was grown in what is now my paddocks. Some had bright red thin and very sour stems in certain rows others were larger and sweeter. These rows were not watered so it could not have been that.
