[What should you do when yoou discover obvious frost damage to a plant? The plants in question are as follows: One is 6ft. tall. Two others are 3-4ft tall. Some of the tips are soft and are a dark black color. Please advise.

I see you are in California and I am in the Canada so I will take a stab at this, not knowing when you will have normal growing weather. When your spring arrives and other plants are actively growing, cut it back to live wood, cut past the dead part to just above a live outward facing bud. This will promote new growth and your plant should recover, as long as the whole thing has not turn black. Janet
