Does anyone have any ideas on how to get rid of the striped cucumber beetle without killing it? I've tried onion skins scattered around the plants and this hasn't worked. I've also tried cedar scented moth balls in the area of the plants. This isn't working either. I 've put cayenne pepper on the cucumber flowers. The beetles like their flowers hot because they are still chewing the flowers. I 've used a garlic water spray with glycerin soap. The beetles like the soapy garlicy taste I guess since this didn't deter them. Does anyone have a remedy that has worked for them. Thank you.
