Ok, having a near nil biological background, I am having zero luck in finding the identification of this plant that has been growing in our back garden for years, blooming in late October, here in Santa Barbara, California. 5" (125mm) wide Pink flowers w/ golden center on a 10ft+ (3m+) tall plant. [I know this is a forum for the BC area, but it seems there are a wide variety of questions that get answers here, so I beg you for a little help on this one.] Thanks for reading/viewing, I will be very grateful for a reply that I can use to find out more information on this amazing tall fall plant.
Re: Please help to Id: very tall plant w/ large pink flowers, yellow center (see pic Dahlia imperialis.
