I have about 400 tulips planted. I live in Central Michigan.
We are supposed to have a major thaw in the next few days.
Is there any way to keep them from coming up before the begining
of next month? I would rather them not come up until April. What can
I do to prevent them from coming up too soon. Or if they do pop up
what can I do to prevent the foliage from turning brown?

Hello Rebecca, and welcome to the UBC Forum, I understand your situation, as weather can wreak havoc on our gardening endeavors... However, most Tulipa will emerge only weather permitting, ie as it warms up, and if the freeze is expected, they will stop growing... until the weather warms up... if you cover them temporarily with white landscape fabric, this may alleviate your fear of the plants from browning.
