In The Garden: Please help to identify this plant

    This plant is growing in a friend's garden in Kiel, North Germany. We have never seen it before and would love to know its name. Also if it is poisonous.

    Phytolacca acinosa (also known as P. esculenta). It is poisonous.

    Maybe it is a good hunting poison? Tip some arrows and go after some squirrels or something!? :)
