    Hello,

I live in San Francisco, and have planted creeping mint inbetween the gaps of a flagstone patio.

Unfortunately, about 30% of the creeping mint appears to have died and has gone a very dark brown color.

We have a sprinkler system which is on once every two days and two indoor cats who do venture outside but I don't think they are peeing on the mint. There are also some ants and flees around....

Can anyone tell me how I can stop the mint from dying?

    Thanks so much.

    Alex.

I tried it years ago and the same thing happened....I am under the impression that it likes very well drained situation...I also don't think it likes high heat and humdity that we have here in the east.
