I purchased a potted lemon tree about 2 years ago which had two small trunks. One has green leaves, but on the other the leaves are turning yellow and falling off. This same trunk has 9 lemons which appear to be about half sized. I water the plant regularly, but I decided to remove the tree from its pot and noticed that the root ball seemed to be very dry. I drenched it and repotted it, but didn't know if this would help. I have fertilized it twice this summer with Miracle Grow, but wasn't sure if this helped any. In addition, even before the leaves turned yellow, they had lost their dark green glossy appearance. Any suggestions?
