Purchased a prarifire crabapple tree and would like to learn alittle more about this tree. Do the berries remain on the tree or is there alot of clean up involved with this type of tree?

    Thank you.

If you're growing it for fruit, I think the only special care it needs is appropriate pruning.

I have a 'Red Jewel' crabapple that keeps all its unpicked fruit from the previous year. It's in full flower right now and still has the old fruit hanging there.
