I have grown some cabbage plants (Early Market Copenhagen, A.E. Mckenzie Co from Brandon Manitoba) in some big pots on my balcony. They have grown very good, and I see some formation of heads, but the stems are getting unusually long. I was wondering if this will be a problem. Will good heads still form. Pictures attached.
Maybe I should just harvest them now. Little bit of salt, little bit of butter, yummy. Or should I see if it will still form a nice cabbage head?

Yes, it looks like they may be bolting (coming into flower before you are finished with them).
