Storing Dormant Grape Vine Cuttings for the Winter

I have grape vine cuttings to store for the winter and am wondering if vacuum packing moist cuttings and then keeping them cool would be suitable? I do understand that moist and cool is important, and am thinking that vacuum packing would remove the risk of mold....the question is would an airless environment hurt the dormant cutting?

If anyone has an opinion or feedback that would be appreciated.

Have a great holiday season!

You can store them in the fridge i don't think vacuum packing is necessary. I store them in plastic in the fridge over the winter. Just make sure you keep the cuttings moist.

From my friend Lon Rombough's website.

Hope this helps
