I have a blue atlas cedar that I planted last spring (about 18 mo ago) The tree is beautiful and has thrived in its spot in the garden. This year it seemed to be doing great and had at least 6-8 inches of healthy new growth on all of the branches. This morning I was out there and noticed tons of needles on the ground.......I shook a branch or 2 and all the needles fell off. I dont see any insects or obvious areas of disease on the tree. Am I going to loose the tree? (it has great sentimental value) Or can someone out there diagnose the problem and help me turn this tree around?

    Help please!!!!!!! :)

Take samples to nearest extension office, if possible.
