A friend found this heart shaped leaf in the woods around Northern California near San Francisco. Its a simple leaf with (I am guessing) a petiolate attachment, indeterminate arrangement, parallel venation, an ovate shape, an acute apice, a cordate leaf base, an entire margin and a glabrous surface. I am not sure what it is and I am hoping you can help me identify the plant. Thanks! :)

PS: Yeah, no wonder its a Feb 14 themed thing - only, the leaf appears to be wilting.
