My aunt gave me some pepper plants for my garden but she doesn't know the English/proper name for them. She calls them "mazziti" peppers. I was wondering if any one knows what type they are. Thanks!

Since there are dozens if not hundreds of varieties it would be a
any body's guess. Chilly Chili (sweet) and Super Chili (hot) look similar.

Sti, you could try searching here or looking at the pics. There are links to the left you can click on to search or look at pics. I couldn't find anything with that name or a version of it.

The fruit shape doesn't bear much relationship to its taste / heat - best to do is experiment with just one in a curry first, and if it doesn't have much heat, use more the next time.
