Rental Facilities

Rentals are scheduled in two 4-hour time slots for all sites with the exception of Nitobe Memorial Garden and the Main Lawn. Sites may be available for extended booking between 8am - 12am at an additional hourly rate.

• Slot 1: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
• Slot 2: 4 p.m. - 8 p.m.

All wedding rental packages include use of the garden for wedding photos on the day of the event and a one year basic garden membership for the couple as a sign of appreciation for selecting us for your special day.

Reception Centre Building

Our largest indoor facility with large private patio, adjacent lawn area, and nearby covered lookout (Ting)
Capacity: up to 100 people

Roseline Sturdy Amphitheatre

Stunning outdoor amphitheatre with incredible acoustics Capacity: up to 225 people

Contemporary Garden Lawn and Arbour

Our most popular venue surrounded by beautiful greenery. The Arbour makes for a stunning procession!
Capacity: up to 250 people (Contemporary Garden)

Main Lawn

Expansive lawn area, perfect for large weddings
Capacity: up to 500 people

Nitobe Memorial Garden

Traditional tea and stroll garden, considered to be among the top Japanese gardens outside of Japan.
Available for wedding ceremonies only. Availability: 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. daily for exclusive use of the wedding party. The garden may also be available on weekends in our “off-peak” season November - March.
Capacity: up to 25 people

Visitor Golf Cart & Driver - available to transport guests within UBC Botanical Garden. Based on availability.

Garden Pavilion Building - This quaint building can be added to the Main Lawn, Contemporary Garden or Roseline Sturdy Amphitheatre. (Cannot be booked separately weekends May - August)
