Course Details Get your botanical baby off to a great start, naturally, and pamper yourself as well. It’s easy, affordable, chemical and petroleum free. Make a baby barrier cream, chamomile powder, dreamtime massage oil and a toning body lotion (great for stretch marks). There are also recipes on bedtime calming mist (to help with sleep training) and aloe wipes (to soothe tender bottoms).  

Instructor Cheryl Theilade, owner of Scentimental Creations, has been teaching a variety of classes on natural products for over thirteen years for various continuing education programs and community centres throughout the Lower Mainland. Along with her enthusiasm, spirit and good sense of humour, she shares her knowledge on using ingredients from nature to create affordable, healthy products. She has appeared on City TV, Vancouver Living and CBC radio, and has contributed to articles in The Vancouver Sun and Shared Vision.  

Location At the Botanical Garden Reception Centre, near the main entrance (Directions to the Botanical Garden)  

Class Size 16 people maximum  

Cost (General) $65.00  

Cost (Garden Members) $60.00

Gardening in the Pacific Northwest is an online discussion forum about gardening in the Pacific region of Canada, Alaska and the northwestern continental United States. The forum is a good place for locals to discuss gardening specific to the area and for people from other areas to learn about the region near the location of the University of British Columbia Botanical Garden.
