Course Details Espalier is a pruning technique of training fruit trees into interesting shapes. Tony Maniezzo will discuss the cultural requirements, how to get started and how the trees are trained and pruned.  

Instructor Tony Maniezzo, UBC Botanical Garden Horticulturist.  

Location At the Botanical Garden Pavilion, near the Food Garden. (Directions to the Botanical Garden)  

Class Size 15 people maximum  

Cost (General) $40.00  

Cost (Garden Members) $33.00  

Please Note Advance registration required. Participants will need to bring secateurs and a pair of gardening gloves. Dress for the weather.
