Botanical Latin (Lecture)

Lecture Details The development of Botanical Latin, its structure and pronunciation will be outlined. Terms related to habitats, geography and colour will be explained. Lists of prefixes and suffixes that help in translating words will be introduced.  

Instructor Rouvé Ritson, a Friend of the Garden since 2003. Academic qualifications include an M.A. in History from Concordia University. She is now retired after a career as a teacher and school administrator in independent schools in both Montreal and Vancouver.  

Location At the Botanical Garden Reception Centre, near the main entrance (Directions to the Botanical Garden)  

Cost $5.00
