Earth Day Celebration at UBC Botanical Garden (2010)
To celebrate Earth Day, on Saturday April 24th, 2010 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, the UBC Botanical Garden will be offering the public 25% off the regular Garden and Greenheart Canopy Walkway admission rates. This discount is not in addition to other forms of discounts that are already available.
Greenheart Canopy Walkway tours will occur on the hour. The Canopy Walkway tour is an exciting aerial adventure in the tree-tops, where participants learn about the forest ecosystem, First Nations, the environment, and the Canopy Walkway's purpose and contribution in conserving natural habitats and green-spaces through eco-tourism.
UBC Botanical Garden tours will be offered at various points throughout the day. Garden tours will showcase spring features in the Garden, including emerging plant growth, spectacular smells and beautiful flowers, while participants will learn about the global plant collection at the Garden, conservation, native ecosystems and relationships in nature.
Please see UBC Botanical Garden fees for information about normal admission rates.
